James N. Kryshak (06) has been accepted into the Lyric Opera of Chicago's Apprentice Program where he will sing on the mainstage, cover international artists, and perform major roles in the Ryan Opera Center's shows.
Caitlin Cisler (06) recently added the roles of Valencienne (The Merry Widow; Lehar), Fata Morgana (Alcina; Handel) and Cunegonde (Candide; Bernstein) to her repertoire.
Pianist Julius Abrahams (09)is now Music Director and Chorusmaster at Shreveport Opera.
Just after she left Austria in August, Rose Beattie (09) performed Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana; (Mascagni). She is about to leave for a European Audition tour.
Stefanie Izzo (09) recently sang Cunegonde in Candide at Queens College in New York
Quinto Ott (07) is living in New York City and singing in 3 shows with the NY Gilbert and Sullivan Players.
Nicole Yazolino (06) is in Berlin, auditioning and coaching with Kathryn Wright.
TOP ALUMNI NEWSNicole Yazolino (TOP 2006) recently completed her master’s degree at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. She will be starting at the same university working towards her doctorate. Ms. Yazolino is also in the running for a Fulbright scholarship to perform and do research in France. Tricia van Ee (TOP 2005) recently sang in The Pirates of Penzance at Opera Omaha. Florian Kresser (TOP 2006, 2008) is studying at the Salzburg Mozarteum and singing regular concerts for tourists. James Kryshak (TOP 2007) recently won the Metropolitan Opera Regional Auditions. Jessica Parker (TOP 2007) is living and singing in New York City. Megan Candio (TOP 2005) recently sang Die Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberfloete in New Jersey. Quinto Ott (TOP 2007) sang Dr. Grenvil in La Traviata this fall. |
